If you need to move home, you will normally have to apply to go onto the waiting list. You can do this on the BCP HomeChoice website. If you need any help with this, get in touch with us.

If you are moving out of your home, we will:

• explain how much notice you need to give
• visit you to explain what you need to do before you leave
• offer support if you are moving to a smaller or more suitable home

When we offer you a new home, we will:

• make sure it is safe, clean and meets our standards
• talk to you about any support you may need to settle in
• check that you are satisfied with your new home and the advice you received

If you apply for a transfer or mutual exchange, we will guide you through the process and keep you informed at every stage.

You can use the HomeSwapper website to look for exchanges. You need our written permission before you do an exchange. 

We will measure our performance and report on:

• percentage of tenants satisfied with the condition of their new home
• mutual exchange decisions made within 42 days
• percentage of tenants satisfied with help and support moving home
