BCP Homes antisocial behaviour standard

If a neighbour or someone in your area is causing nuisance or annoyance you can contact us for help, either by phone, in person or online. When you report antisocial behaviour, you can expect us to:

  • take time to understand what is happening and check whether you need any immediate support (high-risk reports will be responded to within 24 hours)
  • explain what we will do next and agree how the issue will be handled, for example under our antisocial behaviour policy or good neighbourhood management policy
  • make sure an antisocial behaviour officer or housing officer contacts you within a clear timescale, depending on the type of issue
  • carry out a full risk assessment where needed, and work with other services such as the police to make sure you have the right support
  • work closely with partner organisations and use the right tools early on such as mediation, warnings, or legal action to fix problems quickly and reduce harm
  • keep you informed about progress and outcomes wherever possible

We will measure our performance and report on:

  • high risk reports responded to within 1 working day
  • general reports responded to within 5 working days
  • environmental reports responded to within 10 working days
  • good neighbourhood management reports responded to within 10 working days
