BCP Homes tenancy sustainment and money advice standards

We will provide help to our tenants to enable them to successfully maintain their tenancies and minimise the need for legal action and evictions.

We will:

  • contact you when you are nominated for a new home to complete a resident information form and ensure that we are aware of your needs and any help that you may need to sustain your tenancy
  • contact you within 5 days following a referral to our tenancy sustainment team from you or someone else acting on your behalf
  • contact you within 10 days following a referral to our your money team from you or someone else acting on your behalf
  • complete and agree a support plan with you within 1 week of being accepted into our services
  • refer or signpost you to other services who can also help you manage your tenancy or achieve any personal goals you may have
  • help you to move to more suitable accommodation

We will measure our performance by reporting on:

  • proportion of tenants who are evicted from their council home
  • proportion of council homes that are abandoned
  • proportion of settling in visits for new tenants completed with 8 weeks
  • proportion of support plans successfully completed
  • number of tenants supported to move to a smaller home
