Evidence required for a Blue Badge if you receive Armed Forces Compensation Scheme payments
Delayed application
Your application will be delayed if you do not provide all of the required evidence.
We will ask for evidence that you receive Armed Forces Compensation Scheme (AFCS) payments when you apply for a Blue Badge.
Evidence we can accept
We will ask you to upload:
- all pages of your full AFCS award letter showing tariff level
- medical certification confirming permanent walking difficulty
This evidence must be issued within the last12 months and include:
- your name
- the benefit awarded
- tarriff awarded
- the award period
Evidence we cannot accept
We cannot accept:
- partial decision or incomplete letters
- an Armed Forces independent payment award letter
