Apply for a Blue Badge if you receive Armed Forces Compensation Scheme payments
Check that you are eligible for a Blue Badge before you apply.
You can apply for or renew a Blue Badge online.
If you are renewing your Blue Badge, it is the same assessment process as new applications. You must make sure you renew at least 12 weeks before your current badge expires.
A Blue Badge costs £10.
You will need:
- proof of identity
- proof of address
- a recent passport-style photo
- evidence that you receive Armed Forces Compensation Scheme (AFCS) payments

Your application will be delayed if you do not provide all of the required evidence.
What happens next
We aim to process your Blue Badge application within 12 weeks once we have received all the information we need.
You can track the progress of your application using your online account, where we will notify you if we need any more information and to let you know when a decision has been made.
