If you are having a religious ceremony you must find out if the church has an authorised person to attend the ceremony. If they do not, you will need to book a registrar to attend the ceremony.

Your provisional booking simply retains a time slot for registrars to attend your ceremony. Your marriage or civil partnership can not take place until you have given notice.

Booking confirmation
Once you have booked your ceremony and paid the deposit, you will receive an email confirmation of your booking and all the relevant information.

A non-refundable deposit for the ceremony fee must be paid at the time of booking and can be paid by either credit or debit card.
