The Safer BCP preventing domestic abuse strategy explains how local organisations will work together over the next five years to stop domestic abuse, support people affected by it and hold those responsible to account.
The strategy is based on local data and feedback from survivors and focuses on four areas:
- raising awareness and preventing abuse
- helping survivors get the support they need
- improving the response to people who use abusive behaviour
- strengthening partnership working across services
