The Safer BCP perpetrator strategy explains how local partners will work to reduce domestic abuse by focusing on the people who cause harm.
It aims to help perpetrators recognise and change their behaviour through support, education and behaviour change programmes, while also holding them accountable for their actions.
The strategy promotes a joined-up approach across services, supports early intervention, and recognises that addressing issues such as mental health, substance misuse and housing can help reduce abusive behaviour.
