Consultations on school admission arrangements for the year 2028 to 2029

Admission arrangements explain how applications for school places are made and how places are allocated when there are more applications than places available. They also include the Published Admission Number (PAN), which is the number of places available at the normal point of entry.

Schools that propose changes to their admission arrangements must consult on those changes before determining their policies. Our role is to coordinate a consultation process from 5 November to 18 December 2026, which some schools choose to participate in.

We are not consulting on the admission arrangements for Community and Voluntary Controlled Schools for the 2028 to 2029 academic year.

Schools that are consulting

The schools listed below are consulting on their admission arrangements for the 2028 to 2029 academic year through a coordinated consultation process.

A summary of the proposed changes and a link to each school's website are provided below. Paper copies are available on request.

How to comment on or object to a proposal

Any comments or objections should be submitted directly to the school before the consultation closing date or sent to school.admissions@bcpcouncil.gov.uk during the consultation period.

If a school is not listed below it may be that it has chosen to consult separately and will list details on their website.
