Useful information

Corfe and Barrow Hills are made up of four isolated sites. This site and nearby Dunyeats Hill form the remaining link between the larger heathland blocks of Canford and Upton Heaths.

Entrances

There are entrances at Rushcombe Bottom from Higher Blandford Road on Bridleway one, Corfe Hills West and Middle from a layby on Higher Blandford Road and Corfe Hills South from Birkdale Road. 

Habitat

Corfe Hills is mostly dry heath.

Look out for all 6 species of British reptile can be found here and in the nearby Barrow Hills.

Dogs

Dogs must be on a short lead when livestock is near and during the bird breeding season from 1 March to 31 July. At other times dogs must be under close control.

Make sure you follow the rules in our nature reserves.
