A child under the age of 3 may qualify for a Blue Badge if they have a medical condition and need to be kept near a vehicle at all times so that they can be:

• treated in the vehicle
• quickly driven to a place where they can be treated

You will be asked to provide evidence of the child’s medical condition, the treatment they need and how quickly it is required when you apply.

A Blue Badge issued for a child under 3 will be valid until the day after their third birthday.
