Evidence required for a Blue Badge for a child under 3 that needs bulky medical equipment

Your application will be delayed if you do not provide all of the required evidence.
You will be asked to provide evidence of the child's medical condition and the need for equipment when you apply for a Blue Badge.
Evidence required when you apply
The evidence you provide must be dated within the last 3 years and clearly show the child's:
- medical condition
- need for bulky equipment to accompany them at all times
Evidence we can accept
We can accept:
- a paediatrician letter
- hospital documentation
- an occupational therapist report
Evidence we cannot accept
We cannot accept:
- GP correspondence without supporting detail
- appointment letters
- photographs or videos demonstrating the condition
- NHS App screenshots without clinical assessment
