Friends Groups can make valuable contributions to our libraries by supporting and maintaining awareness of libraries within their communities.

They can help with fundraising, delivering events and acting as library champions.

We have created a framework to support Friends Groups, together with a constitution.

Role profiles

Role profiles have been created for the roles of Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary.

How to get involved

If you would like to join an existing Friends Group or set one up, contact your local library. You can complete the membership form if you know which Friends Group you'd like to join.
