Important changes to the Access to Leisure and Learning (ATL&L) Scheme

BCP Council are currently reviewing the ATL&L scheme with a view to an improved, fairer scheme that offers equal access to residents across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

During the review period, the following changes will be applied:

If you have a membership card, that expired after 31 August 2022, you were told that your membership would continue until 31 March 2024, when we had hoped to launch a new scheme.

That membership has now been extended further, and you can continue to use your ATL&L card from 1 April 2024 until further notice. We will publish further information as the new scheme develops and is ready to be relaunched.

We will not be issuing new membership cards and you should continue to use your current card at participating venues, who will accept it beyond the expiry date until the new scheme is launched.

New applications have been paused and will be unavailable during the review period. This means that BH residents who meet the eligibility criteria will not be able to apply online or in person for an ATL&L membership. This applies to residents who were not an ATL&L member prior to 01 September 2022, when the scheme was paused.

Anyone wanting to take part in discounted activities at the three Everyone Active Leisure centres in Poole, can apply to Everyone Active who will continue to offer the same concessionary discount to those who meet the criteria of the ATL&L scheme.
