Anyone can experience domestic abuse, and we want you to know that no matter what difficulties are being experienced, there is always someone to talk to.
For any domestic abuse-related support, find out more about the help available across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
We are working towards achieving the Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) accreditation. This ensures that we are responding to cases of domestic abuse, supporting any victim and holding perpetrators to account.
All staff are trained to understand domestic abuse and can offer advice and support. We also have a number of domestic abuse champions.
Tenants who are victims of domestic abuse have a secure tenure and should not worry about losing their tenancy. They have the right to remain in their property if they want to. If a tenant who is a victim is looking for support to move to another form of accommodation, BCP Homes staff can assist with this too.
You can also contact BCP Homes for any domestic abuse related support or tenancy advice you may need, please call us on 0800 028 1870 or email bcphomes@bcpcouncil.gov.uk.
