BCP Homes performance

We are committed to delivering excellent services to residents and planning for the future. It’s important that we keep you informed about how we are doing this, by providing clear information about our performance.

We track our performance to assess and measure how well different areas are doing and the impact we’re making. Our system ensures that we stay on track and allows us to address issues promptly. Besides measuring our performance, we also seek residents' views.

Top national rating for social housing standards

We have been awarded a C1 rating, which is the highest possible outcome by the Regulator of Social Housing. This confirms that we are delivering safe, well-managed homes and services that meet national standards.

The Regulator recognised strong leadership, effective health and safety arrangements, faster and more reliable repairs, progress in tackling damp and mould, and a clear commitment to listening to residents.

The Regulator also praised our work to manage antisocial behaviour in partnership with the police and community safety teams. We are one of only 7 local authorities in England to achieve this rating, placing us among the highest‑performing council landlords.

BCP Homes annual report from 2025 to 2026

Our annual report summarises how we’ve delivered services during the previous financial year and includes some key facts and figures relating to the work we do to manage BCP Homes properties.

Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSM) survey

Throughout 2025 to 2026, we asked an independent company to survey 1,000 council tenants to collect their views and measure their satisfaction with our services. This is called the Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSM) survey.

The survey was carried out on a quarterly basis, with tenants contacted in June 2025, September 2025, December 2025 and March 2026. This approach enabled us to collect feedback at regular intervals across the year.

There are 22 TSMs, that cover 5 themes. 10 are measured directly by landlords, and 12 are measured through tenant perception surveys.

The questions cover overall satisfaction and:

  • keeping properties in good repair
  • maintaining building safety
  • respectful and helpful engagement
  • effective handling of complaints
  • responsible neighbourhood management

2025 to 2026 TSM survey results

The 2025 to 2026 TSM survey results show that we had good satisfaction levels across various services, including our overall service. The survey also includes our performance and the national average results for 2024 to 2025.

New Standards and Future Comparisons

The survey was conducted as part of the new standard introduced by the Regulator of Social Housing, which assesses how well social housing landlords in England provide quality homes and services.

The national results for 2024 to 2025 have been published on the Regulator of Social Housing’s website. Tenants can now compare their landlord’s performance with other social housing landlords.
