Before you trade at Street Food Corner

Before you apply to trade at one of our Street Food Corner locations, you must be registered and hygiene rated. We reserve the right to refuse registration.

Menus

We do not allow 2 traders selling the same foods at the same time. We will ask you to confirm your menu when you book and tell us if your menus changes before you trade.

You cannot sell the following at Street Food Corner:

  • alcohol
  • traditional fast/fried foods such as hot dogs, chips, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, or french fries
  • confectionery
  • ice creams/ices
  • foods producing excessive smoke or smell

We do not grant licenses for "drinks only" traders and do not allow the use of plastic straws.

Permanent opportunities

Any permanent opportunities are advertised on the Supplying the South West Portal. These are only let to traders under contract.

Insurance

All traders must have their own insurance, and must provide evidence of this prior to trading.

The insurance must be against all risks including Public and Product Liability not less than £5 million and must have an adequate policy of employers liability insurance in an amount not less than £10 million if you are a sole trader.

If you are going to be promoting your business on social media, use the hashtags #getfoodie and #streetfood. You can also tag @streetfoodbcp.
