Apply to trade at Street Food Corner

Our pitches are let for a maximum period of 1 month at a time, usually with shorter terms in the summer.

At the end of each period, traders should take a break for 7 days in a row.

How to apply

Email your registration form to street.food@bcpcouncil.gov.uk to apply for a pitch. 

You will need to supply:

  • your menu
  • photos of your stall

Preference is given to is high quality food from good-looking, well-maintained vans or gazebos. Environmentally friendly packaging is a must.

Pitches are allocated on a first come, first served basis, then by food type to ensure variety.

We will review your application and confirm your bookings with you.

How to book and pay

You can make your bookings from the start of each year. Our pitches are open all year (weather-permitting), apart from Christmas Day.

We will usually invoice you for payment, but for last-minute bookings payment must be made by card on the phone. We will contact you in these cases.

If bookings are cancelled with more than 4 weeks’ notice and you have already paid then we will refund your money less a 50% administration fee. Bookings cancelled with less than 4 weeks’ notice will not be entitled to a refund.

Prices

Lower Gardens guide prices

The seasonal pitch prices (including electricity) are per pitch, per day excluding VAT:

  • low tariff (Monday to Friday): £53 + VAT
  • low tariff (weekends): £63 + VAT
  • medium tariff: £84 + VAT
  • high tariff: £126 + VAT
  • premium tariff: price on application (POA) + VAT

These prices are for a guideline only, our tariff calendar contains more detail and exact prices for your dates will be confirmed with your booking.

All charges are subject to VAT.

Prices during major events

For major events, such as the Air Festival, interested traders will be asked to submit a bid for their pitch.

Pitches will be allocated on a quality offer and price basis, not just the highest price submitted.

All traders on our database will be notified of the opportunities as they arise.
