Taxi fares

There are 6 tariffs for our taxi fares.

There are no extra charges for assistance dogs or wheelchairs or similar operated personal conveyances. The meter will not start until the wheelchair is loaded.

Tariff 1 - day rate - for up to 4 passengers

Between 6am and 10pm daily, initial charge of £4.

£6.66 for the first mile and then £2.86 per mile.

Waiting time is 20p per 38 seconds.

Tariff 2 - night rate - for up to 4 passengers

Between 10pm and 6am daily, initial charge of £5.50.

£8.55 for the first mile then £3.50 per mile.

Waiting time is 25p per 36 seconds.

Tariff 3 - Christmas and New Year - for up to 4 passengers

Between 6pm on 24 December until 6am on 27 December and between 6pm on 31 December until 6am on 2 January, initial charge of £6.

£9.49 for the first mile then £4.28 per mile.

Waiting time is 30p per 36 seconds.

Tariff 4 - day rate - for 5 to 8 passengers

Between 6am and 10pm daily, initial charge of £6.

£9.99 for the first mile and then £4.29 per mile.

Waiting time is 20p per 38 seconds.

Tariff 5 - night rate - for 5 to 8 passengers

Between 10pm and 6am daily, initial charge of £8.

£12.82 for the first mile then £5.25 per mile.

Waiting time is 25p per 36 seconds.

Tariff 6 - Christmas and New Year - for 5 to 8 passengers

Between 6pm on 24 December until 6am on 27 December and between 6pm on 31 December until 6am on 2 January, initial charge of £9.

£13.74 for the first mile then £6.42 per mile.
