Winton 20mph zone (reference S112)

We proposed changes to reduce the speed limit by creating a 20mph Zone in Winton and the surrounding areas. Initially a public engagement was carried out from 18 March 2025 to 29 April 2025.

The formal TRO consultation process followed from this on 10 October 2025 to 7 November 2025, where we asked for feedback using our interactive map and also accepted views in writing.

A decision was made at Cabinet on 4 March 2026 to implement the proposal.

The Traffic Regulation Order was sealed on 13 May 2026 and is effective from 1 June 2026.
