Winton 20mph zone (reference S112)

In full consideration of the public engagement feedback earlier this year, a decision to implement a 20mph zone across Winton and the surrounding areas has been approved, subject to the statutory traffic regulation order consultation process. This process asked for feedback using our interactive map and also accepted views in writing.

The scheme drawing shows the overall plan for the 20mph zone.

Deposit document

The deposit document contains the formal details required for public consultation on the changes to the speed limit and the amendment to the Traffic Order which underpins the proposal.

We will now review the feedback received during the consultation period and produce a report with officer recommendation on how the proposal will be taken forward.
