Poole Quay consultation (reference P116 and M109)

Poole Quay is closed to motor vehicles from 1 April to 31 October from 10am to 10pm.

We proposed changes to move the closure point 8 metres to the east of its junction with Thames Street.

Along Poole Quay on the approach and junction with Thames Street changes were also proposed to:

• loading bays
• parking bays

We asked for comment using our interactive map and also accepted views in writing.

The decision to go ahead with the proposal was made on 15 October 2025.

The Traffic Regulation Order was sealed on 16 October 2025 and is effective from 3 November 2025.
