Oakley Lane 30mph speed limit consultation (reference S111)

We proposed changes to reduce the speed limit from 40mph to 30mph on Oakley Lane. This forms part of the Planning Decision for the Oakwood Park Development on Oakley Lane and is set out in the associated Section 106 Agreement.

We asked for feedback using our interactive map and also accepted views in writing.

The decision to go ahead with the proposal was made on 16 December 2025.

The Traffic Regulation Order was sealed on 13 January 2026 and is effective from 26 January 2026.
