Our proposal for a School Street trial on Hadow Road outside The Bourne Academy and Kingsleigh Primary School
We've used an Experimental Traffic Order to trial a restriction on motor vehicles at the start and end of the school day. This trial began on Monday 14 October 2024 for an an initial 6 month consultation period. The trial can be in place for up to 18 months.
The restriction times were modified on 4 August 2025 and the trial was open for comment for a further 6 months. We asked for comments in writing by email or post.
Responses to the consultation will be considered and a decision will be made as to whether the motor vehicle restriction will be made permanent.
