Electric Vehicle Charging Bays LEVI Phase 1 (reference P137)

The Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) programme supports the delivery of BCP Council’s Public EV Infrastructure Strategy by expanding publicly accessible residential and destination charging infrastructure across the BCP area.

The Council has secured LEVI funding from central government and appointed an external service provider to install, operate and maintain the network. A decision to proceed with the LEVI Scheme was approved at Cabinet on 13 December 2023.

This proposal is to implement Traffic Regulation Orders for Electric Vehicle Charging Bays in residential areas across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

We will now review and consider the comments received within the consultation period and produce a report with recommendations on how to proceed with the scheme.

Due to the number of responses we receive we are unable to respond to individual comments. All comments may be made publicly available on request.

You can view The Deposit Document which contains the formal details required for public consultation on changes to traffic restrictions, and the amendment to the Traffic Order which underpins them.
