Bus Service Improvement Plan Lansdowne to Gervis Place consultation (reference P123 and M112)

We proposed to make changes to traffic restrictions on the section of bus network in Bournemouth from Lansdowne to Gervis Place as part of the Bus Service Improvement Plan project.

These changes will allow improvements to:

• the bus service
• bus stops
• bus priority

The deposit document contains the formal details required for public consultation on changes to traffic restrictions and the amendment to the Traffic Order which underpins them.

We asked for comment using Traffweb, our interactive map, and also accepted views in writing.

The outcome of the traffic order consultation is available to view in the decision record.

2 sealed Traffic Orders and the Notice of Making for these orders are also available to view. The Traffic Order for changes to restrictions on Gervis Place, Hinton Road, St Peter's Road and Glen Fern Road is to be sealed at a later date.

In early 2025 we carried out engagement about our Bus Service Improvement Plan in:

• Old Christchurch Road
• Gervis Place/ Hinton Road junction
• Westover Road

The input has informed our proposals.
