On 16 July 2025, cabinet refused the application submitted by the East Cliff Neighbourhood Forum for designation of an East Cliff neighbourhood forum and area.
The application consisted of the following:
- combined application for area and forum designation
- map which identifies the proposed area
- forum constitution
- mission statement
- supporting statement
