Vitality Bay Run is returning in 2026 with the promise to bring fun, fitness and community spirit together again.
Following Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council’s renewed partnership with Health and Life insurer Vitality, they will continue to be the title sponsor and Official Wellness Partner of the Vitality Bay Run for a further two years.
Early bird registration is now open for runners of all ages and abilities. Mark your calendars for 22 March 2026, a day packed with community spirit and coastal charm.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Bournemouth’s seven-mile stretch of sandy beaches and the scenic Poole Bay, the event promotes a healthy, active lifestyle within our community and supports local charities. This year the local charities are Dorset Mind, The Healthbus Trust, Forest Holme Hospice and Bournemouth Foodbank.
The event offers something for everyone - whether you’re aiming for a personal best or just here for the fun, you can choose from a range of exciting races:
• Half Marathon
• 10 km
• 5 km
• 1 km Children’s Race: perfect for the youngest enthusiasts.
The Vitality Bay Run is more than a race - it’s a vibrant community event with a focus on wellbeing. Participants support local charities and enjoy running, jogging or walking along Bournemouth’s picturesque coastline in a buzzing atmosphere.
