Due to the current weather conditions the Street outreach Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP) has been activated. The protocol will run for the next 3 nights and will be reviewed on Saturday 27 December.

If you are concerned about someone sleeping rough, please contact the outreach team via the following channels:

  • Calling: 01202 315 962 (this service has a 24 hour answerphone)
  • Using StreetLink
  • Emailing: BCPRoughSleepingService@mungos.org

SWEP helps to protect and provide for vulnerable people sleeping rough during severe weather. It is activated when there is a real risk of loss of life because of weather conditions.

The Homelessness Partnership which is made up of community partners including the Council and Homelessness charity St Mungo's will  offer shelter to all people sleeping rough in Bournemouth, Christchurch or Poole by providing emergency accommodation.
