The panel is made up of 250 social housing residents from across England, who advise the government and ministers on social housing policies from a resident’s perspective.
It’s important that residents' views are heard through these changes, and panel members will contribute their ideas via focus groups, online communities and meetings.
Residents of social housing across England can apply to join the panel and do not need to have any experience of taking part in resident engagement before.
Applications are open until 7 September 2025.
