Christmas at The Bournemouth Beach Lodges

Bournemouth is a vibrant, year - round destination and with the largest free Christmas Light Festival taking place in the region this year, the Beach Lodges are perfect for a stress-free festive break by the seaside.

Each of the 24 open-plan Beach Lodges is warm and modern and can be enjoyed by everyone this winter - couples, families, small groups of friends and dogs are welcome too! Children love the treehouse feel of the bespoke interior design, while the grown-ups can take advantage of all the home comforts the Beach Lodges offer – a well equipped kitchen, a pleasingly spacious shower room, a cosy mezzanine sleeping area, WIFI, heating and a private wooden terrace with spectacular panoramic sea views.

A week at the Beach Lodges can be enjoyed in many ways. Take in the invigorating sea air on endless lazy beach walks, discover the town’s diverse choice of bars, restaurants and cafes or immerse yourself in the area’s art and culture including of course a trip to the panto. Catch Beauty & The Beast at the iconic Bournemouth Pavilion or Cinderella which will delighting audiences at the Lighthouse, Poole’s Arts Centre.

Guests can also take in one of the UK’s biggest free seasonal festivals with Christmas Tree Wonderland in Bournemouth and the inaugural Poole Christmas Maritime Light Festival, a few miles down the coast.

The extraordinary Christmas Tree Wonderlandreturns to central Bournemouth with its captivating Christmas Tree Trail, dazzling illuminations, Christmas Market, Alpine Bar and amazing open-air ice-skating rink and bar located in the Lower Gardens.

Poole Christmas Maritime Light Festivallaunches in 2022. An enchanting nautical trail of twinkling lights, a giant anchor, towering Christmas trees, an awesome under the sea curtain of light and a 5-metre-tall ship can be found throughout the town. Follow the lights from Falkland Square, down the Hight Street to the historic Poole Quay before admiring the beautifully illuminated Poole Harbour.

Art, culture, and social history are all available to enjoy at Bournemouth’s cliff top Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum which offers an authentic Victorian Christmas experience, around the Old Town and Quay in Poole and at The Red House Museum, located in the centre of historic Christchurch, close to the 11th Century Christchurch Priory.
