Suicide prevention training

Training is available for anyone who would like to learn skills about supporting people who are experiencing thoughts of suicide.

Zero Suicide Alliance

The Zero Suicide Alliance suicide awareness training only takes 30 minutes to complete. Within this course, you will learn how to spot suicide warning signs, how to have a conversation with someone you're worried about and be able to signpost to further support.

The training is free and available to anyone aged 16 or over.

The Zero Suicide Alliance autism and suicide awareness training has been co-produced with people from the autistic community.

This course teaches you about autism and suicide risk and you will hear from real experiences, how to spot signs and support an autistic person and signpost to further support.

The training is free and recommended to anyone aged 16 or over and working with autistic people or part of the autistic community.

MindEd

MindEd is an NHS England approved training programme. Their free online Staying safe from suicide course is divided into 4 courses and available to NHS staff.
