Become a Supported Lodgings host

Supported lodgings is when a young person aged 16 to 24 lives with a host while they prepare to live independently. The host provides a safe place to stay and helps the young person build everyday skills, such as:

  • cooking
  • managing money
  • accessing education, training or work

Being a supported lodgings host is a paid role. Hosts can make a lasting difference to a young person at an important stage in their life.

Find out more about supported lodgings on the BCP Fostering website.
