2026 beach hut bookings will open at 10am on Wednesday 18 February (fixed periods) and from 10am on Thursday 19 February for all other booking durations.
We offer beach huts for short term hire for both visitors and residents throughout the beaches in Bournemouth and Poole.
Before you hire a beach hut
Before you hire a beach hut you must read through our terms and conditions, and ensure:
- any portable camping stoves or gas cylinders you bring meet the safety requirements in our terms and conditions - pre-installed gas cooking equipment will no longer be provided
- keys are returned to us by 5pm on the final Friday of your hire period
How to hire a beach hut
You can hire a beach hut using our online booking system.
You can create an account to store details for future bookings. If you have booked a beach hut or pod before January 2025, you will need to create a new account.
You can also hire a beach hut by phone on 01202 123 800. You can call us between:
- 10am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
- 10am and 4pm, Saturday and Sunday
Cost of hire
Our prices vary depending on the hire period and type of hut or pod (from standard huts to double pods with electric and water)
You can choose from:
- fixed period hire (set blocks of time)
- weekly hire
- daily hire (walk in only)
Fixed periods
- £675 to £1,559 in the winter (25 weeks) from 26 September 2026 to 19 March 2027
- £3,989 to £9,199 for spring and summer (26 weeks) from 28 March to 25 September 2026
- £1,679 to £3,879 for peak summer (10 weeks) from 27 June to 4 September 2026
Weekly hire (1 week or longer)
Available between 28 March and 25 September 2026, from £119 to £389 per week.
Daily hire
Daily hire is only available as walk ins at Bournemouth East and Bournemouth West beaches. These huts must be booked in person at the Tourist Information Centre at Bournemouth Pier Approach.
Daily hire is available between 28 March and 25 September 2026. The hire cost is between £25 and £30 per day.
