We work with Dorset HealthCare to provide community mental health teams (CMHTs) across Dorset (including Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole) to support adults with significant mental health problems. Care is provided in the community to provide a quick response and prevent unnecessary admissions into hospital.
Some CMHTs support adults of a working age, while others look after older people.
If you or someone you know needs to be assessed or referred to a CMHT, you should first contact your GP.
