The 3H Foundation

The 3H Foundation is a small charity (reg. 1209413) that has supported disabled people and carers for over 50 years. We work with partner organisations to offer group holidays for disabled people, giving them time away from day-to-day caring relationships. Low-income families with a disabled family member can apply for grants to help fund a UK holiday, and carers can apply for respite grants to take a break.

We also offer short respite experiences such as afternoon teas and spa days in partnership with local carer organisations. Registered carers may receive a carer’s card and occasional respite hampers (please note the register is currently closed to new applicants).

Through our TeensPLUS programme, we support organisations working with young carers by providing activity hampers and home-based challenge packs with everything needed to take part.
