Lifeline provides a 24-hour emergency contact system for people living in their own home in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area. It is available to people of all ages who would like to feel safe, protected and independent in their home. Lifeline has a Telecare Services accreditation and thirty years of industry experience.

A mobile response service is available to residents in various parts of Bournemouth and Poole, including assisted lifting services. The Lifeline team can advise if this is available to you.

Lifeline also offers a range of safety equipment to detect falls, fire, flood, temperature and carbon monoxide. The team can also provide key safe fitting services and other sensors to assist on-site carers.

How the emergency contact system works

A Lifeline emergency contact system includes an emergency button, which you press to activate the alarm unit. You can then speak to a Lifeline team member through the loudspeaker on the alarm unit.

Lifeline team members will contact your emergency keyholders, relatives, emergency services as needed. Depending on the service you have subscribed to, Lifeline may send an officer to your location.

Costs

The cost of the service will vary depending on your needs and the type of service you require:

  • the monitoring service starts from £4.70 per week
  • the mobile response service starts from £7.96 per week

We can offer a free demonstration with no obligation to buy.
