Early Years Funding Recovery policy

This policy sets out BCP Council's approach to identifying, recovering, and managing instances where Early Years Funding has been incorrectly claimed, overpaid, or misused by providers.

The policy explains:

• recovery action that may be taken due to errors such as overclaiming or misrepresentation
• the funding recovery process.
• review, decisions and recovery
• the roles and responsibilities of the Early Years Funding Team, the Finance Team, Audit and Compliance officers, Early Years providers and senior leadership.
