NeighbourCar is a door-to-door community car scheme for attending doctor, dentist, hospital and any other health related appointments. Christchurch NeighbourCar operates on weekdays for residents in the BH23 postcode area (Christchurch and Burton).

Eligibility

You can use this service if you have difficulty in walking or difficulty in accessing public transport.

Cost

It costs 50p per mile plus £1 for admin costs.

Vehicles

The cars used are volunteers’ own vehicles. Rollators can be carried, but drivers cannot take wheelchairs - unless the passenger is accompanied by a companion who can lift the wheelchair in and out of the vehicle.
