Everyone living and working in the BCP Council area is being invited to influence the council’s first ever Council Plan.

The draft plan is now available online, accompanied by a short survey, seeking the views of residents.

Residents have until 6 September 2019 to provide their feedback, before the plan is considered for final approval at BCP Council’s Cabinet meeting in October. Once approved, this high-level plan will inform all future decisions and policies adopted by the council.

Cllr Vikki Slade, Leader of BCP Council, said: "It is important that the residents of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole have the opportunity to give their feedback on the council’s plan.

"Our aspirations for the area are ambitious, but we need to ensure that the views of residents are heard, as this plan will help shape our priorities moving forward.

"Getting this plan agreed will be incredibly significant, so I encourage all residents to take this opportunity to have their say, whether that is online or by hard copy at their local library."
