BCP Council is proud of all the A Level students who have attended the schools and colleges in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole and received their results this week. Many students have achieved excellent grades and secured university places to study at institutions including Oxford and Cambridge and other universities across the country and the world. Many students in BCP choose to continue their education close to home and take up offers from our local universities; Bournemouth University, Arts University Bournemouth and AECC University College. There have also been successes for those who have opted to move on to an apprenticeship or work placement with training with students being offered places in industry locally and nationally.

Councillor Sandra Moore, Portfolio holder for Children and Families said:

"I would like to congratulate all the students who have studied across BCP and have now received their A level results. This is the result of years of hard work by the students, teachers, support staff and governors, as well as support from their parents and carers. Some students may not have received the results they had hoped for and if this is the case would remind them that there are services available to provide help and advice, so try not to worry. I wish all our students every success in their future."

Students are advised to contact their schools, colleges or the following services if they would like advice on future options:
