To protect the biodiversity of our spaces, we need to know what we have.

This is very time consuming and requires some expertise in identification. If you have a strong identification skills or expertise in ecology and conservation, we would love to hear from you. Please email greenvolunteer@bcpcouncil.gov.uk to find out more.

We would ideally like to gather a good base of naturalists but in the meantime, please send us good quality photos of the local species you see along with the location so we can build up a picture of local biodiversity.
