The person named on the beach hut licence cannot transfer the hut to anyone else, even a family member or friend.

The only exception is if the licence holder has passed away. A person living at the same address can then transfer the licence into their name.

To make a transfer following a death, contact our beach hut team. If a hut is transferred into someone else’s name, a £30 administration fee will be applied.
