Bournemouth Music Library has a large collection of chamber music and music for small ensembles, including sets for strings, wind, brass and mixed ensembles. Choral sets and orchestral sets can also be hired by choirs and orchestras in the area.

As we're part of a national network of performance libraries, you can request music sets which are not held at the library or not currently available. There may be an additional charge for this.

We aim meet your needs when it comes to the number of sets required and the dates you want them. However, do plan ahead and allow time for your sets to be ordered and processed. This is particularly important when it comes to music which may be popular and, therefore, in high demand.

A representative from your group will need to become a member of the library, taking responsibility for the ordering, collection and return of sets.
