Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole have over 155 miles of cycle routes. 

Our area map shows routes recommended by cyclists, comprising signed routes, quiet roads, traffic-controlled areas and useful off-highway links. The map also has details of our bike hire scheme and nearby parking. 

Cycling is permitted on the promenade, but not between 10am and 6pm in July and August. 

Cycle routes in Christchurch 

There are 24 miles of cycle routes in Christchurch, half of which is traffic free, including rural routes and urban routes. 

There are also routes from Saxon Square to Avon Beach, Burton Green to Avon Beach and Burton Green to Burley in the New Forest.
