A property is considered empty if it has been empty for 6 months or longer. This includes properties that are:

• on the market for sale in probate
• being refurbished
• awaiting planning permission or redevelopment

We do not keep a current list of empty properties or have a dedicated empty homes officer for the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area.
