Minibus driving competence assessments

Schools and other not for profit organisations sometimes need to use a minibus. Minibus operators are responsible for being legally compliant and have to follow legal guidelines that can be very strictly monitored.

The GOV.UK website has information about driving a minibus.

Once you are satisfied that your nominated minibus driver(s) holds the appropriate category of driving licence, it is good practice to ensure that they have shown their ability.

Driving a minibus safely requires more advanced skills than driving a car. We work with some local Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) who offer training and assessments of the competence of not-for-profit minibus drivers.
