How to apply for or renew a permit

To apply, renew or pay for a yearly or half yearly parking permit, log in to our online permit system.

If this is the first time you've used the system, you'll be asked to create an account.

Once your account is set up, you can apply and pay for your permit or change your registration number.

Using this system means you no longer receive a physical permit and you will instead have a virtual permit. Our staff use their handheld devices to log in to the system and check if people have paid for parking.

Permit rules

The rules of the permit are:

  • permits can be shared between 2 vehicles, except at Richmond Gardens and Avenue Road multi-storey car parks where you can only have one vehicle per permit. You can't use the permit on 2 vehicles at the same time in any location. You are responsible for updating your account to let us know which vehicle you want to use
  • enter your car registration details carefully. Make sure you enter the correct registration number. Take care when entering 0 (zero) and O (the letter). Mistakes may result in the issue of a penalty charge notice
  • if you apply for or use a permit fraudulently, the permit will be cancelled and no refund issued
  • make sure you read the full terms and conditions for your chosen car park
