Hamworthy Park
Hamworthy Park sits on Poole Harbour and comprises Hamworthy beach, a large, green open space and a children's paddling pool and play area.
The park, which has views of Brownsea Island and the Purbecks, is licensed to hire for outdoor events.
Location
Lulworth Avenue, Hamworthy, Poole, BH15 4DH.
Parking
There’s a 60-space car park in Lulworth Avenue at the park entrance, but it does get busy in summer.
Opening times
The park is always open, but the paddling pool is usually only open from May to September.
Entrances
There are entrances to the park on Lulworth Avenue and Branksea Avenue.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome on the beach all year round, but not in the play parks or paddling pool.
Facilities
There are public and disabled toilets, pushchair and wheelchair-friendly paths and access points to the harbour beach.
Food and drink
The park has the Park Cafe and drinking water points.

The park’s two children’s play areas have access to a large, recently-refurbished paddling pool.

At the park there's a fitness station and South Coast Adventures, a leading outdoor activities provider offering paddleboarding, kayaking and canoeing lessons.
