Redhill Common

One of our smallest nature reserves, Redhill Common has several habitats.

It may only measure 7 hectares, but the site is a Green Flag winner and has heathland, grassland, scrub and woodland habitats.

Several species of birds live in or visit the area and larger mammals such as foxes and badgers have also been spotted. If you visit in the summer months you can find reptiles here too.

The Redhill Common onsite information board has more information on wildlife and plants.

This is a much-loved area and the Redhill Common Conservation Group work hard to take care of it and organise events.

There are guided walks at Redhill Common throughout the year.
