Hamworthy Park beach

Located on the northern shore of Poole Harbour, Hamworthy Park beach offers an oasis of peace and tranquillity from the busy town centre. It has outstanding panoramic views over the middle and upper reaches of the harbour towards the Purbeck Hills. 
There are beach guidelines to follow so that everyone can enjoy Poole's beaches.
Barbecues are not permitted on Hamworthy Park at any time. You may be prosecuted if  you attempt to light a barbecue.

Hamworthy Park car park has 60 spaces.

The nearest train stations to Hamworthy Park are Hamworthy (0.9 miles), Poole (1.4 miles) and Holton Heath (2.8 miles).  
  

Cycling  

No cycling is allowed on the promenade at Hamworthy Park.

Accessibility    

There is no ramp access to Hamworthy beach, only steps. For easier access try Sandbanks and Shore Road beaches. 

Dogs

Hamworthy Park beach is a designated dog beach and can be used all year round.  
Always keep dogs on a lead on the promenade at all times. Read our dogs on the beach information. Please be a responsible owner and pick up after your dog.
